Kris and Alison Stowers
Kris Stowers is currently serving as the minister of the Church at Shiloh Farm. He also works as a physician at the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic. As a physician, he works in sports medicine and provides care for the athletic program at Florida State. In addition to being the team physician for the Seminoles, he enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and is the medical director for the athletic training program at FSU.

Kris is the husband of Alison Atkins Stowers, having been happily married since 1980. Together they have three incredible children Jordan, Luke and Austin. They have lived in Tallahassee since 1990. Currently Jordan is attending Florida State University and Luke and Austin are students at Lincoln High School.

Kris was born in Flint, Michigan in 1958 and moved to Florida in elementary school. He grew up in Largo, then attended the University of Florida, graduating in 1981. While in Gainesville, he became a Christian shortly before moving to Tampa to begin medical school at the University of South Florida. In Tampa, he became actively involved in leading bible studies and attended ministry training classes.

Kris and Alison moved to Lansing, Michigan after graduating medical school to pursue a residency in family medicine and help start a church. During this time their daughter, Jordan, was born.  After completing the residency program, the family moved to Cleveland, Ohio to pursue more training in a sports medicine fellowship. Luke was born during their time in Cleveland.

The next move brought them to Tallahassee to work at TOC and FSU. Austin was born in 1991 here in Tallahassee. Kris pursued his interest in the ministry and was ordained. The entire family is excited to serve together since the beginning of the Church at Shiloh Farm which started in March of 2004.
